Volento is built by a small team who cares deeply about community organizations and the people who run them. We work on hard problems that help real people - and we're just getting started.
We're in early access, working closely with our first organizations before we grow the team. When we do hire, we'll post here first. If you believe in what we're building, we'd love to hear from you anyway.
Send us a noteWhat we're building
Community organizations - food banks, shelters, outreach programs - are doing essential work with almost no tech infrastructure. They're coordinating hundreds of volunteers through email, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets.
We're building the platform that changes that. Not a generic productivity tool dressed up for non-profits, but something built specifically for the people doing this work - the coordinators who are on the ground, making it happen.
We're early. The product is growing. The opportunity is large. And the mission is one we genuinely believe in.
What we believe
Every decision we make - what to build, how to price, who to hire - is filtered through one question: does this help the organizations doing the most important work?
We don't ship features for the sake of shipping. We think carefully, build deliberately, and care deeply about whether what we make actually works for real people.
Our users - and our users' users - are human beings giving their time. We hold that reality close in everything we design.
We say what we think. We tell customers what we don't do yet. We don't oversell. Clarity is a form of respect.
We're a small team and we're proud of it. Staying small means staying focused on what matters - and not losing sight of why we started.
We move fast where it helps users. We move slowly where precision matters. We know the difference.
When we do hire, here's the kind of team we're building.
We work asynchronously across time zones. Output matters, not presence.
Every feature you ship helps community organizations serve more people better.
No bureaucracy. Your ideas go from conversation to shipped feature fast.
We care about the organizations we serve. You will too.
We invest in the people on our team. Books, courses, conferences - you name it.
We're building something for the long term. That means not burning out the people doing it.
We don't have roles open right now, but we're always happy to meet people who care about our mission. Introduce yourself and we'll keep you in mind.
